The Jean Monnet Centre of Excellence EU4GlobalOrder in partnership with the UNIPI Interdisciplinary Centre Science for Peace promotes the conference “The United Nations in the Current International Context: A European Perspective,” which will be held at the Centro Congressi Le Benedettine (Piazza San Paolo a Ripa d’Arno 16, Pisa) on June 18 and 19, 2026.
The conference aims to foster interdisciplinary dialogue among scholars, researchers, officials, and professionals in the international sector, with the goal of examining the current and future role of the United Nations, their capacity to respond to global crises, their influence in shaping international law and cooperation policies, and the role of European institutions in adapting governance instruments in light of future challenges.
